Weaving is my passion. For over 20 years, I have spent time at my loom nearly every day. Fiber has always fascinated me: threads woven together to make cloth that can be cut, pieced, stitched, embellished. Traditional and vintage textiles provide a rich source of inspiration, and I like to infuse my designs with both classic and unexpected colors.

I design, weave, and complete all the required finishing work for each of my pieces. After I’ve finalized a design, I start with cones of yarn, wind the warp on the warp board, set up the loon, and weave the yardage. When the cloth comes off the loom, I then do fringing, hemming, or sewing to complete the project.

My work includes a variety of scarves for men and women, shawls and other wearables, towels, placemats, and table runners.
I use only natural fibers such as rayon chenille, cotton, linen, and bamboo.

I sell my work from my studio, at a few select shops, and at juried craft shows in New York State and New England
